Why should I hire a modular transport specialist like Stream Modular?
Modular transport is a specialized transportation service for volumetric modular construction. Shipping modules is unlike transporting any other products. Modules are large, valuable, and fragile. Also, the sequencing is incredibly important, so if one module isn’t delivered on time, or if it is damaged, all the site work is halted until that specific module is installed.

With these intricacies presenting tremendous risk of delay and extraordinary expenses, a specialized set of capabilities are required to ensure a successful modular construction project.
What is a modular staging yard?
A modular staging yard is a lot or yard where modules can be staged and stored in an organized and sequenced layout while the construction site is being prepped. Usually, staging yards are close to the construction site. The goal is to enable a smooth and efficient setting process by shuttling modules from the yard to the site as quickly as possible.
What are Autonomous Mod Trailers?
Autonomous Mod Trailers are a category of trailers specifically designed for the modular industry. Since modules tend to be very large and heavy, handling them can be an expensive and time consuming process. However, Autonomous Mod Trailers are equipped with methods for raising and lowering the deck of the trailer, allowing for a single driver to load or unload modules without the use of cranes, forklifts or other heavy equipment. Autonomous Mod Trailers are also often equipped with outriggers which provide lateral support for over-width modules.
Does Stream Modular sell custom Autonomous Mod Trailers?
Right now, we do not sell our custom-designed and manufactured Autonomous Mod Trailers. However, we have the largest fleet of such trailers in the nation and can provide transport service along with our sophisticated project management services anywhere in the US and Canada.
What is Mod Mover Pro™?
Mod Mover Pro™ are custom designed and manufactured trailers for the specific use of moving modules from the end of the manufacturing line to temporary storage on cribbing within your factory property. Mod Mover Pro™ can be pulled with a heavy duty lift, yard truck, or similar. Here’s how it works.
  • Simply load the module onto the trailer in the factory, and move it into storage position.
  • Then, use the hydraulic lifting deck to raise the module so you can place cribbing underneath it.
  • Lower the deck until the module is fully supported by the cribbing.
The entire unloading process takes less than 5 minutes. Save time, money, and labor!
